Our bilingual curriculum is based on a systematic and structural approach to provide the child with a good foundation towards positive learning. It aims to encourage every child to be an active and creative learner.
By using a thematic approach, children will be exposed to both the English and Chinese languages to acquire basic literacy skills. Our step-by-step “Reading Programme”, together with story telling and role-play activities aim to develop the child’s mastery and appreciation of the languages.
To build a strong language foundation, our literacy programme also includes phonics and sight words/flash card reading. In addition, our Speech and Drama programme will further open your child’s imagination and develop his/her creative thinking.
Incorporating the latest Mathematics syllabus, our early numeracy programme enables the children to acquire early numeracy concepts & skills through meaningful daily hands-on activities.
Children are exposed to basic Science concepts through both indoor and outdoor activities to arouse their curiosity and enhance their sensory & exploration skills.
Children are encouraged to express their creativity through imagination, hands-on cookery, art & crafts, and music & movement experiences.
Through developmentally appropirate movement education activities, children learn to express themselves socially and emotionally. These activities are designed to help children develop social awareness, while achieving satisfaction through peer relationship & co-operative group play.
Field trips are organized to widen their knowledge and their understanding of the physical and geographical world around them.
Our step-by-step reading programme helps children to cultivate early reading habits as well as to foster a love for books. Parents may also engage in their child's e-learning journey from home. Flash cards are used to complement our literacy programme.
Children learn how to read by mastering the phonic sounds and blending them to form words through stories and structured activities to build a strong foundation.
Build up the child’s confidence and open up the child’s imagination and creativity through speech-drill & role-play activities.
Specially selected computer software are used to reinforce language skills and mathematical concepts through stories, rhymes, songs and games activities.
Using a combination of tablets, touch-screen computers, and other interactive devices, our children are engaged in interactive e-learning whereby IT is used as a visual teaching tool to reinforce their learning of concepts in Math, Science and the Languages.
Children will be exposed to Music through songs, dance and use of musical instruments at our centre. The main aim is to teach your child the appreciation of music at a very young age.
Children will learn basic techniques of drawing, colouring and creation of a picture using different mediums.
This programme aims to improve the motor skills, eye-hand co-ordination and overall physical development of the children. Children also gain self confidence and learn about sportsmanship and good social skills.
Play is important as it supports the healthy development of the mind and body. Play helps to develop the children gross and fine motor skills as well as build their self- confidence and enhance their social skills. We also provide a wide variety of educational and manipulative toys and interest corners for children to explore and learn through play.
